PH8 Casino Terms Glossary: Eight Words in Game Rules and Promos

A casino terms glossary for PH8 fits on one screen, because eight words do most of the work across game rules and promotion pages. Signal is the definition and a peso example. Noise is the confident tone of a rule you have only half understood.
Casino Terms Glossary: Game Rules Table
| Term | Plain meaning | Peso example |
|---|---|---|
| Stake | Amount on one spin, shot or bet | ₱10 per spin |
| Hit rate | How often anything pays | Printed for some games, not others |
| Maximum win | Printed ceiling as a multiple | 10000x on a ₱10 stake is ₱100,000 |
| RTP | Long-run return percentage | PG Mahjong Ways 2 prints 96.95% |
| Volatility | Size of swings | Super Ace is low to medium on JILI’s page |
The move: read a maximum win as a ceiling. Nothing on the studio pages says how often it is reached.
Bet Unit: One Number That Sizes Everything
A bet unit is a fixed base amount you size stakes from. If your unit is ₱10, a ₱30 stake is three units and a ₱1,000 budget holds 100 units.
Signal: a unit you can lose a hundred times without concern. Noise: the idea that a bigger unit makes a session more exciting. It makes it shorter. The casino bankroll management article explains how to choose the unit.
Game Weighting and Turnover in Promo Text
Turnover is the sum of everything staked, and game weighting says how much of each stake counts toward it. A promotion can require turnover before a withdrawal, and weighting decides whether a slot, a live table or a fish game helps reach it.
| Game | Weighting in a sample rule | Counts of a ₱100 bet |
|---|---|---|
| Slots | 100% | ₱100 |
| Live tables | 10% | ₱10 |
| Excluded games | 0% | ₱0 |
The weightings above are an invented example, shown only to teach the arithmetic. A real promotion prints its own, and a lobby may exclude games entirely.
RTP and Volatility on the Studio Pages
RTP and volatility describe different things. RTP marks the long-run average; volatility describes how rough the ride toward it gets. PG Soft prints both for each game page, while JILI prints a volatility for slots and no RTP at all.
For what volatility does to a ₱1,000 budget, read the slot volatility explained article. For how these terms steer a pick, see how to choose a slot machine.
PH8 Casino Terms in Promo Text
A promotion line usually uses three of these words together. Take a sample sentence: stake counts at game weighting, until turnover is reached. Read it as three questions: how much of my bet counts, how much do I need to stake in total, and which games are included?
Take an invented rule that asks for ₱1,000 of turnover, with slots at 100 percent and live tables at 10 percent. A ₱100 live bet then adds only ₱10 toward it.
If the page does not answer all three, the promotion is not yet understood. Ask support, or skip it.
Where These Terms Meet the Lobby
The lobby’s promotion pages sit behind pop-ups, and their wording is where weighting and turnover show up. To login to read promotion terms in the lobby is the way to see them, and the terms come before accepting. Wallet questions go to the casino GCash status for promo funding, and the blog index of related reads has more.
How to Get Started
-
Find the term in the rules
Rules and promotion terms use the same eight words. Spot which of them a given page relies on.
-
Turn it into pesos
Multiply the term by your own stake. A rule you cannot put a peso figure on is a rule you have not understood.
-
Skip the stop-and-guess
If a term is not defined on the page, ask support before staking.
